In Jest

Here are a few pictures from my missions trips with Operation Serve International (OSI) to serve people who live in the garbage dumps and poor regions near Mexico City. OSI shares the love of Christ, and provides free services including medical, dental, optical, personal hygeine, hair care, and children's ministry.

OSI also works with local churches and ministries to continually reach people with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. As a result, many thousands of people in Mexico, Egypt, and other parts of the world experience new or renewed faith and eternal hope for the future. If you or someone you know may be interested in joining or supporting a team, contact OSI at the above link.

Nels Cremean

OPERATION SERVE – MEXICO

Some people go to Mexico for the beaches. I went to the garbage dumps...

where thousands of people live...

and work...

and play.

My friends and I worked with OSI and local churches to provide free medical and dental...

and optical and hair care services...

and food and clothes where they were needed.

We also worked with terrific people from local churches. When I wasn't working, I had fun...

played futbol (soccer)...

made new friends...

juggled (of course)...

shared the gospel, and encouraged through Scripture and prayer.

I also got to eat great food, meet good people...

and enjoy some of the wonderful culture of Mexico.

It was an awesome experience "Sharing the Love of Christ in Word and Deed."

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' "

- Matthew 25:34-40
