Some of these things may not apply to your situation. For example, Nels can adapt his presentations to almost any clean, well-lit space, and he can provide everything if he's driving to your event (e.g. sound system, lighting, etc).

PRESENTATION SPACE
__ Arrange for a clean 10' x 16' space with 10' ceiling if possible. (12' x 20' with 12' ceiling is better.) For greatest visibility with large audiences, a stage or platform with steps in front and a dark backdrop is best.

Lighting
__ Good lighting is crucial. Plan on a full wash with some colors if available. Focus and repair lights in advance if needed.

Changing Room
__ If possible, provide changing room with bottled water, mirror, and access to a restroom.

Collateral Use
__ Please ask permission from Nels before photographing or recording any program, and provide Nels with a copy of all marketing materials and reviews of the performance.

Other
__ Consider decorations or other extras to set the tone for a fun event. Nels can provide ideas and resources upon request.
__ For ticketed events, please provide complimentary tickets for Nels' family or guests as needed.

NOTE: The items below apply only if requested ON the confirmation for your PARTICULAR event.

Sound
__ If requested, provide a sound system with XLR input for Nels' wireless microphone receiver and 1/4" input (e.g. direct box) at stage left for his music player.
__ If Nels is flying to your event, provide a quality wireless lapel microphone and CD player for backup. If Nels is driving, he usually provides his own backup.

Set Up/Lighting (for full-scale and theatre shows)
__ If requested, arrange for technicians to be available for set up and rehearsal at least two hours before production. Also, if house lights will be off during the show, Nels may need two par lights on the floor behind him to light up the high space for juggling.

POWERPOINT SETUP (for some keynotes and ministry events)
__ If requested, provide projector, screen, laptop, remote, and technician to help with PowerPoint presentation which Nels will bring on a flash drive. If possible, set screen upstage right or left, not center.

Lodging
__ If requested, provide one non-smoking room for overnights at a preferred area hotel, and confirm the arrangements with Nels at least two weeks in advance.
